Entre Comunidad is a community-centered fundraising event bringing together supporters, partners, and friends of Latino Union of Chicago for an evening of connection and collective impact. Join us for food, drinks, music, and networking, while supporting efforts to build power with workers across Chicago. funds raised will support urgent legal expenses for Luis and Betuel.
Entre Comunidad has always been about bringing people together, building community, and celebrating the strength of day laborers and household workers.
Today, the event carries an even deeper meaning.
Right now, two members of our community, Luis and Betuel, are detained and navigating an urgent legal situation. In moments like this, community matters more than ever.
Entre Comunidad is not only a fundraiser: it’s a way for our community to show up for one another. Every ticket purchased, donation made, and person who attends will help support urgent legal expenses and remind our community that they are not alone.
At Latino Union, we believe solidarity looks like action. It looks like showing up, supporting each other, and protecting our people when they need us most.
Entre Comunidad will still be a joyful evening filled with music, food, connection, and celebration, but today, it is also an opportunity to directly support workers and their families during an incredibly difficult moment.
